Why this site exists
chiefs.cards covers Kansas City Chiefs cards — the players worth collecting, the sets they appear in, and what is actually available to buy right now. Team collecting is its own discipline: you are tracking a roster that turns over, legends whose cards were printed in eras with completely different rules, and rookies whose first cards land across four or five products in the same year. This site keeps that straight in one place.
The perspective is a working collector's, not a press office's. What the byline stands behind is checkable: every price shown is a live marketplace number, and every set fact is sourced rather than guessed.

You will not find a "book value", a price estimate, or a projected return typed into an article here. Card values move weekly, and a number written once is stale by the next weekend. Where the market matters, the page shows live marketplace listings with real current bids instead.

Every product listed is re-checked against its live retailer listing every morning. Sold out gets labelled sold out rather than quietly left up, and dead listings are swapped or dropped automatically.

Which set a card actually falls in, prospect auto vs. official rookie, parallel and refractor ladders, print windows — the details that are annoying to track down and stay true for years. That is the spine of the site; buying advice sits on top of it.
